Solicitation-tailored resume mapping experience to PWS tasks
What wins points
Map each key personnel resume directly to PWS tasks, ensuring compliance with FAR 52.212‑1(f) page limits and responsiveness requirements.
What gets bids disqualified
Missing required resumes or exceeding one‑page limit leads to a non‑responsive rejection under FAR 52.212‑1(f).
Evaluator's view
Check that each resume bullet references the exact PWS task identifier and fits within a single page.
Key Personnel Resume Template
What this is
A fill‑in‑the‑blank resume that maps a contractor’s key personnel experience directly to the tasks and deliverables described in the solicitation’s Performance Work Statement (PWS). It ensures each résumé item demonstrates capability for a specific PWS requirement.
When you need it
Use for any competitive federal contract—sealed bid, negotiated or simplified acquisition—where the solicitation requires individual resumes for key personnel (often listed in the “Key Personnel” section of the proposal). Mandatory when the solicitation specifies resume submission; optional but highly recommended otherwise.
How to fill it in
- Identify required positions – locate the “Key Personnel” table in the solicitation (Section L or Section I) and list each role (e.g., Project Manager, Lead Engineer).
- Map PWS tasks – for each position, read the corresponding task statements in the PWS and write a short bullet linking experience to that task.
- Complete the template fields:
[PERSON_NAME]– full legal name.[POSITION_TITLE]– exact title requested.[EDUCATION]– highest degree, institution, year.[CERTIFICATIONS]– any required certifications (e.g., PMP, DoD‑clearance).[EXPERIENCE]– 3–5 bullet points; each begins with the PWS task identifier in brackets, e.g.,[Task 1.2] Developed ….[PHYSICAL_FIT]– confirm ability to meet any physical location or travel requirements.- Source documentation – attach supporting evidence (performance reports, DD‑214, certification copies) as annexes referenced in the “Evidence” column.
- Formatting – use 12‑point Times New Roman, single‑space, one‑inch margins; limit to one page per individual as required by FAR 52.212‑1(f).
