What this is
A brief document describing how the contractor will ensure that essential public services continue without interruption during and after contract performance, especially in case of disruptions.
When you need it
Required for contracts covering health, social or cultural services where continuity of service is a mandatory condition (see Directive 2014/24/EU). It is usually needed during the award stage to demonstrate capability and again at contract start for planning.
How to fill it in
- Identify the core public services covered by the contract.
- Describe the organisational measures (staffing, backup facilities, IT disaster‑recovery) that will keep those services running.
- Provide a timetable for any planned transitions or emergency drills.
- Attach any certifications or previous continuity plans as annexes.
- Sign and date the document.
